4. Critical Appraisal of PMAY – Urban
Project Details
The aim of this project is to understand the comprehensive impact of the PMAY-U schemes on the lives of beneficiaries across all implementation verticals and propose design solutions best fit for the beneficiaries.
The objectives of the project are:
1. To document the social and demographic profiles of the beneficiaries.
2. To assess the overall uptake in the affordable housing sector.
3. To interview with key stakeholders, including beneficiaries and implementing partners, to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes involved in scheme implementation.
4. To design dwelling units for EWS (30 Sq. m.) & LIG (60 Sq. m.) based on the data analysis from beneficiary survey.

5. Digital Twinning of Built Heritage using Lidar and VR for the ASI National Repository
Project Details
The proposal for digital twinning of five ASI precincts in Bishnupur using LIDAR and VR is
unique in integrating high-precision 3D scanning with immersive visualisation. It documents
intricate architectural details and creates a digital/ virtual replica for public engagement as well
as scholarly research. This initiative contributes to the ASI National Repository by offering a
scalable model for heritage preservation. In the event of future damage due to natural or
human-induced causes, these digital models will serve as accurate references for restoration.
The project ensures long-term digital conservation, enabling heritage continuity and access
beyond physical and geographical limitations

Conduct rigorous physical progress assessments on-site and cross-verify field execution against official DPRs, NITs, and work orders.

Perform comprehensive data validation by verifying adherence to approved DPR scopes, technical specifications, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Execute quality and compliance checks, identifying data gaps, flagging financial and physical execution risks, analysing project delays, and providing actionable corrective recommendations.

Finalize data validation through the Principal Investigators and ensure accurate, seamless upload of verified data onto the national AMRUT 2.0 portal, alongside submission of definitive independent monitoring reports.

To conduct rigorous physical progress assessments on-site and cross-check field execution against official approved documents such as Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), Notice Inviting Tenders (NITs), and work orders.

To perform comprehensive data validation by verifying adherence to approved DPR scopes, technical specifications, environmental regulations, and safety standards at the construction sites.

To execute quality and compliance checks, which involve identifying data gaps, flagging financial or physical execution risks, analysing project delays, and providing actionable, corrective recommendations for the respective ULBs.

To finalize data validation through the Joint Principal Investigators and ensure the seamless, accurate upload of verified data onto the national AMRUT 2.0 portal, alongside the preparation of independent monitoring reports.
